details of the opportunity:
Role: Technical PM
Duration: 9 months
Location: Des Moines, IA
Rate: $40/hr C2C
Position Description: Experience Level: 4 yr degree plus 7-10 yrs exp
Please note: This position will require a varying degree of night/weekend
work.
The Service Management team coordinates enterprise network device service
requests for our partners from end to end (Engagement, Discovery, Design,
Approval and Implementation) by coordinating and hosting meetings with the
project team, creating and managing the related change controls for Network
Services and coordinating and managing the implementations.
Required Skills:
* Candidate must have strong technical project management skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of advanced network hardware, software and
configurations, network infrastructure and design, network topologies and
protocols for solutions spanning multiple business functions and geographic
locations. Knowledge of the development of network architectures and
standards a plus
* Requires excellent communications skills, analytical ability, strong
judgment and time management skills and the ability to work effectively with
clients and IT management, staff and vendors
* Two years minimum of solid, diverse work experience in networking
technology
* Ability to provide technical consulting to Lines of Business
