Position: Portal Developer
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: Long Term
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Design and develop key J2EE portal applications
Design and develop web portal applications
Design and develop WSRP portlets based on JSR 168 standards
Integrate existing feeds into portal application
Perform unit testing and QA testing
Resolve issues that arise during QA, UAT and production releases
Provide documentation on delivered functionality Technical support
specialist to Interface with clients, understand issues and provide
resolutions in a timely manner.
Gain understanding of firm's development standards and platform and produce
code accordingly
Work effectively with team members and be able to coordinate with other
teams
Qualifications
Required Skills:
JAVA - 4 to 6 years
JSP - 4 to 6 years
HTML - 4 to 6 years
Portlets - 3 years
Javascript - 4 to 6 years
Weblogic Portal - 3 years
Weblogic - 5 years
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Desired Skills:
Oracle - 3+ years
RDBMS - 5 years
AJAX - 3 years
XML/XSL - 5 years
Familiar with Spring, Struts, Hibernate frameworks
