*ETL Specialist* * * Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 7 months *Description/Required Skills:* - Manager is looking for very strong MVS/COBOL/JCL experience in application development, along with ETL skills. Tech lead: - Responsible for detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. - Provides team or technical supervision and drives project/service delivery. - Performs as technical lead on software development projects with responsibility for overall delivery of software components. - Documents design decisions, adheres to existing process guidelines, develops software components, mentors junior developers, supports QA during testing, and has oversight during implementation into production. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or some other technical area which provides analysis and programming experience - Experienced in Mainframe Cobol and JCL (2-3 years) - Experienced in Abinitio ETL development (3-4 years) - ETL or Mainframe experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.) - 1 Year experience in Senior Developer on IT Projects - Data mapping experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.) - Demonstrated ability to lead end to end ETL and MVS mainframe projects - Knowledgeable of client processes and procedures (preferred) - Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members).
