Description Job Description: - Require expertise in SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), with conversion experience from Domino or Documentum being a plus. - The SharePoint Architect will oversee and participate in the architectural design, and will provide consultation to the development team for the development and customization required to deliver the projects. - The Architect will also be helping others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge. Requirements: - Must possess advanced knowledge of business workflows and have an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. - In depth experience is required with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, and Business Process and Forms, with Business Intelligence experience being a plus. - Experience with securing the SharePoint platform and its content is highly preferred. - Ability to evaluate, select and articulate product strategies between MOSS 2007, WebLogic, and SAP. - Experience with configuration and customization of the platform, with a demonstrated understanding of when to leverage each. - SharePoint knowledge should include architectural design, Web Parts development, server installation, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations. - Development experience with Microsoft.NET technologies is also required ( ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, C#, XML, IIS, SQL Server), and experience working in the full Software Development Life Cycle. - Ability to work in a global team environment and have excellent skills in cross-team communication. - Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, and demonstrate ability in creative thinking, teamwork, problem solving, decision making, and time management - Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential Minimum education and experience required for the position (include special skills or license requirements): Education / Certifications / Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree: Computer Science or equivalent. • Strong command of business and technical English language is extremely vital. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required. Work Experience Needed: • 5+ years experience developing software applications. • 4+ years experience with SharePoint Administration and Development • 4+ years experience with Visual Basic / .Net, MS Access • 3+ years experience with Oracle and or SQL. • 1+ years experience with Business Objects • 1+ years experience with Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, writing Use Cases. • Exposure to formal SDLC methodology. • Experience with data analysis and data scrubbing. • Excellent problem-solving, quantitative skills and personal maturity. Ability to multi task and quickly learn new applications, business processes and technologies.
