Specific Skills for this engagement:
Job Description: Assist in strategic effort to produce client-facing
documentation around global fund accounting standards for inbound and
outbound data extracts/messaging.
Job Qualifications:
. Business expertise in Fund Accounting/Fund Administration
. Excellent written communication skills with experience producing
client-facing/sales and marketing documentation
. Ability to work independently and manage work efforts, as well as quickly
adapt to new environments
. Formal marketing/corporate communication-type experience preferred
Experience with Sungard InvestOne platform, a plus
General:
Our client is searching for an individual who will function as a Business
Analyst. This individual should have a minimum of 5 years experience within
a financial services firm. The B/A has the primary responsibility to gather,
analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders. The
Business Analyst serves as the principal conduit for managing system
requirements between the business and the software development team
throughout the duration of a project.
The primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:
- Elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter
experts
- Define and document requirements
- Analyze and prioritize requirements
- Write functional specifications
- Model the requirements/specifications
- Perform business process design in conjunction with operations teams
- Lead requirements validation and traceability analysis
- Manage scope and requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead development of common standards and tools
- Assist in operational rollout and support
