*Load Testing and Automation Specialist.* *Location: Minneapolis* *Duration: 3+ Months* *Rate: $40/hr.* * JOB FUNCTION/PRINCIPAL DUTIES: (Experience required - Essential and preferred) • Lead, Plan and Design Load Performance and Test Automation efforts for Projects, in collaboration with various IT areas. • Develop and Execute Load and Performance Test Suites, Test Automation for various Applications including Client-Server, Main Frame, Web Applications and Web Services • Analyze results of Load Testing and Automation and collaboratively assess risk associated with new application and software implementation. • Devise and Drive Improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations • Effective use of tools to communicate software defects and testing status to development areas, peers and management. • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Team Members with issues needing technical expertise • Drive Evaluation of New Technologies and determine Benefits, Risk and Return-on-Investment for Express Scripts CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS: (List education, travel, language requirements, budget/supervisory responsibility) • College degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience • 5+ years experience in Test Planning, Load Performance Testing and Design/Development/Execution of Complex Test Automation. • Demonstrated Strong Planning and Technical skills in Load Performance Testing, Test Automation and Administration of QA Tools. • Extensive experience in the Design and Development of 'Automated Testing' of various client-server , web applications, web services using HP/Mercury tools: Quick Test Professional (QTP), Win Runner, Quality Center and Parasoft tools: SOATest • Highly Experienced in Load and Performance Testing using Mercury Load Runner • Experienced in driving Evaluation of New Technologies and determining the Return-on-Investment. • Experienced in Installation, Configuration and Administration of Mercury Quality Center • Knowledge of the supporting platforms for Mercury Quality Center like Web sphere, JBOSS, Oracle, MS SQL Server is highly desired. • Mercury Certification in Load Testing and Automation is highly desired Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical skills. Math aptitude a plus Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly and solve problems Detail oriented with the ability to work and guide others during time constraints to meet deadlines Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business requirements This person will replace one of our current resources for Performance Load testing. We need primarily specialized Load Testing experience on HP/Mercury Loadrunner.
