The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of supporting and organizing virtualized and physical lab servers in a large corporate environment, as well as experience with messaging applications (email, mobile messaging, archiving and compliance, etc). Candidate should have experience working in a large corporate environment (>500 servers), where the team member must practice good teamwork/coordination skills with numerous business partners to follow corporate direction regarding best practices, security policies, audit, and change control. This engineering team is responsible for cradle to grave support and maintenance of several complex messaging lab environments with many interdependencies between applications. Candidate must have solid engineering experience, be able to work independently, and must be able to handle all aspects of supporting engineering projects within a lab environment through all stages of an application's support lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have had experience with supporting/maintaining VMWare VI/ESX farms, Microsoft Windows servers, Red Hat and SUSE Linux servers, Dell and HP server hardware and EMC Clariion SAN solutions. *Skills Required: * At least 3 years experience supporting and maintaining enterprise server environments At least 1 year experience working with messaging applications At least 1 year experience in server inventory control/management Exceptional communication, documentation and customer service skills Ability to lead projects that have broad impact across all enterprise messaging applications Platform and Skill Set Expertise: Client Server Development : NT, Client Server Development : UNIX Shailaja Aim Computer Consulting N.
