Candidate will be involved in Requirements analysis, Interpretation and understanding of functional specifications, writing technical design documents adhering to predefined standards and design of physical data model. *Responsibilities: * · Hands on development of quality (i.e. readable, performing and supportable) PL/SQL code on an Oracle 11g database, delivering the functionality detailed in the technical specifications · Hands on experience in working in Unix/Linux operating systems. · Hands on development of Perl scripts, delivering the functionality detailed in the technical specifications · Tuning poor performing code to ensure acceptable application performance · Conducting peer reviews and providing constructive feedback · Preparation of detailed unit test cases · Execution of unit test cases and documentation of results · Providing support during QA and UAT test phases · Diagnosis and resolution of defects found during QA and UAT test phases · Training and knowledge transfer to support team · Point of contact for support team, investigating and resolving issues found in production · Work closely with development team members in London and Singapore – participating in and contributing to technical discussions *Required skills:* · IT experience with at least 2 big projects in a development capacity. · Oracle, PL/SQL, Database design, performance tuning · Scripting languages (shell, perl) · Good knowledge on Unix/Linux · Knowledge of UML, Visio, Enterprise Architect or E/R Studio · Perforce or other source code control tools · Knowledge of software development ‘best practices’ · Good knowledge of the software development life cycle · Analytical skills – ability to investigate and resolve issues in a high-pressured environment · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to train others · Positive Team Player · A highly-motivated individual · Enthusiastic and eager to learn -- Best Regards, Manohar AjaxInfotech Email:[email protected] <email%[email protected]> Contact:314-266-3632 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Exact Match" group.
