Duration: 4 Months (will be extended far beyond the initial duration) * *Primary Products Supported: * · Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 · 3 - 5 years of database administration experience for senior DBAs; · Able to install, configure, upgrade and tune the databases of different versions. · Experienced in planning and implementing different backup/recovery strategies based upon different business requirements. · Uses rationale to integrate & interpret diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses acumen, experience and investigative skills to complement design & improve workflow and procedures. · Logically able to organize unrelated data into clear and concise interpretations represented in spreadsheets, charts or diagrams. · Able to use cogent & logical thought processes to troubleshoot problems within network related systems and associated management tools. Including the installation and support of management tools. · Creates new ways of solving problems and improving processes. · Able to successfully work on multiple systems/processes at once. · Demonstrated, experience in effective project management methods and practices. · Must be affable, receptive and cordial to assist in acquiring & dispensing information attained from this frequently approached position. · Able to coherently & effectively communicate with senior management as well the global community and technical teams. · Must have demonstrated planning, analysis and creative problem solving skills. · Must possess a strong understanding of information technology theory and principles. Including a working knowledge of other disciplines. · Must have the ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
