Job Description: Main Duties: The main duties of this position are to assist with the GCF/PTCRBcertification testing of Novatel WWAN products. Responsibility will alsopotentially involve other standard based certification such as WiFicertification Required Experience:. A minimum of 5-6 years experience working in the wireless industry isdesired. . Previous experience with managing Formal Type Approval (FTA) of WWANproducts is required with strong emphases on GCF/PTCRB. Required Knowledge: . Practical knowledge of GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSPA/LTE physical layer and upperlayer protocols and RF necessary to debug product issues are required. . Previous experience working with embedded systems is strongly desired. . Knowledge of Qualcomm logging tools is desired. Education: BSEE Special Requirement: This position will require traveling overseas to test houses to complete thecertification activities of projects. Also, domestic travel is required totest houses within the United States. Must be willing to work overtime whenneeded to complete the certification activity of projects prior to productlaunch.
