Less than 5% Job Description: Ideal Fit:. System Test experience for Carrier Specific test Plans especially Verizonand Sprint . CDG-IOT certification and support of the testing while at the labs.. Basic Understanding or experience on WiMax and/or LTE is a huge bonus. Knowledge of IS-95, CDMA2000 and 1xEV-DO protocols, with understanding ofthe standards. . Failure Analysis via logs Job Duties . Executing and reporting results for Carrier Specific test Plansespecially Verizon and Sprint and the ability to interpret and reportfailures to Internal groups for analysis.. System knowledge to correlate test plan requirements to CDMA standards tosuccessfully execute carrier test scenarios.. Ability to understand CDMA requirements and translate these into testcases/plans for verification.. Usage of Qualcomm and Call box tools for logging and analysis of failureand successful testing scenarios.. Knowledge of Wireshark and Ethereal to capture and debug failures usingPPP logs.. Preparation and pre-testing of devices for CDG-IOT certification andsupport of the testing while at the labs.. Basic Understanding of WiMax, LTE or both is a plus and ability to learnquickly by usage of relevant wireless standards.. Using industry standard test tools, specifically Spirent system, Aeroflexsystem, Agilent 8960 call box to test various test scenarios.. RF knowledge in IS-98, IS-866 and IS-866A a plus.. Basic programming knowledge in C, Perl, TCK/TCL a plus.Required Knowledge:. Knowledge of IS-95, CDMA2000 and 1xEV-DO protocols, with understanding ofthe standards. Failure Analysis via logs and other means to root causefailures in the lab.. Understanding of MIP, Data Retry, Authentication and full knowledge ofcall flows and messaging.. Comfortable with usage of test systems - Spirent Stack, 8960 call box,Qualcomm Logging and PST tools. . Experience in testing CDMA or other relevant Wirelesstechnologies, WiFi, LTE, WiMax. Education:Required: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
