They are replacing one of their main applications with an application form one of their vendors that they are customizing. This new application will touch many different areas of the organization and IT and will need to be incorporated into a new deployed package. This position will deal mainly with application packaging (SCM, Microsoft), application implementation and deployment, package/image builds, installing base software and setting up network servers. The environment is a Microsoft environment with Windows Servers, desktops etc., .Net for web applications, the backend database is Oracle and there is some Java, but it is not the instrumental to this position. *Additional technologies *** Cruise Control (for automated builds), Subversion and Team Foundation Server (TFS). This position does not require extensive .Net development or Oracle PL/SQL development, but in order to be selected for this position, the resource must have been working with building and deploying packages in .Net/Oracle environments using SCM.
