Send me your resume across [email protected] ASAP. *Need: QA. * *Location: Denver, CO. {Try to get Locals} * *Mid Level: Skills equivalent to 3-5 years in comparable position.* Create use cases, develop and maintain test specifications, test cases, test scripts and test data, implement test practices, standards and processes, troubleshoot test issues, record test results, track and prioritize defects, participate in product readiness and release decisions and establish fact based measures of test efficiency, effectiveness and product readiness, responsible for estimating, coordinating, directing testing for multiple products/projects. *Required skills:* Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Science(or equivalent) 5+ years of software quality assurance on highly complex and/or multiple projects, including manual test case execution, defect tracking, test plan/test case creation and management, and requirements analysis. 2+ years software development experience as Client/Server Application Developer or Web Application Developer (J2EE). 2+ years testing web-based applications and 1+ years performance testing experience, MVS mainframe development environment, JCL, TSO, Processing batch jobs and working with production development environments. Team Objective Our team suports the validation, distribution and support of Schwab Equity Ratings (SER) and SER related applications. The objective for the team is to provide benefit to our business partners by enhancing out applications. At the same time we intend on upgrading and refactoring our applications to streamline application development. Requirements We are currently seeking a skilled Quality Assurance with 3-5 years of experience to join a team producing a set of strategic corporate applications. - Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes - Quick Test Pro - Rational Unified Process (RUP) - Familiarity with SQL Server 2005 - Familiarity with Web Services - Familiarity with Quality Center Responsibilities This position will work in an internal development team in providing Quality Assurance for web and database applications. The responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to: - test plan preparation - test script writing - executing test scripts - requirement ambiguity reviews - minor trouble-shooting application problems in development and production environments - Assist in infratructure updates The Schwab Equity Ratings suite of applications are Microsoft based, and typically are small, internal-facing departmental solutions.
