Description:
Our Client seeks a Business Objects Developer including the implementation
of the following components:
* Interactive KPI dashboards, reports and ad hoc analysis tools
* Event based actionable intelligence and workflow
* Multidimensional risk adjusted profitability
* Data warehouse and data marts
Core accountabilities
* The main functions of this role are to provide technical skills to
design and build solutions which deliver Business Intelligence to the Wealth
Business
* Provide development, unit testing of all Dashboards, Scorecards and
Reports for the Data Quality Initiative.
* Ensure that all delivered outputs meet business requirements and
quality standards
* Key Deliverables
* Develop fully functional modules that meet all the specifications and
have successfully passed all tests including unit, integration, regression
and system tests.
* Coordinate with other developers, deliver working code in the form of
dashboards, reports and scorecards
Work with testing team and with test management tools (JIRA, etc.) to
monitor and resolve software defects.
Requirements
* 5+ years experience with Business Objects 11 Rel 3.1 or above
* At least 2 years experience in Xcelsius 2008
* BO Universe Creation, including security and access restriction
* Xcelsius dashboard development including live connection to the
underline data
* Webintelligence and Crystal reports development
* Query as a Web Service
* Live Office
* Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and optimization in Oracle 10g /
11g.
* Experience in a Wealth Management / Finance environment is essential,
but this can be relaxed for candidates with exceptional technical skills.
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills
* Good Business Objects Administration skills – CMS
* Good understanding of how the different tools within the Business
Objects suite are fitting together
* Ability to present to the stakeholders and drive requirements
gathering though prototyping.
* Source code management with Perforce
* written/documentation & verbal communication skills, with experience
interfacing with senior leaders
* Candidate must demonstrate previous experience in the leadership of
teams responsible for the analysis and build of UI and workflow tools
* Experience documenting user interfaces and workflows to meet
information audit requirements
* Experience of working within cross functional teams and utilization of
agile methods
