We are looking for an engineer to architect building and extending
distributed platform for providing services with high availability. If
you've had experience building high-throughput, geographically distributed
systems with very high availability and operational supportability, then
we're looking for you. Responsibilities: . You will deliver complex projects
in a fast paced environment with a focus on quality, supportability and
scalability.
Skills:
Ability to work with people, Coding, Debugging, Java, Linux, Perl, Shell,
XML
* Understanding the end-to-end design and all integration touch points
* Developing the integration test execution plan and design for the
integration verification
* Automating new system and API-based integration tests for Apt
* Driving the actual end-to-end integration - not only identifying the
integration issues, but helping to drive issue resolution
* Enhancing the automation framework, shared libraries, and tools. Ideal
candidates should have a strong understanding of developing automation
frameworks for high performance and massively scalable, multi-tier products.
* The candidate will be able to develop designs for automation components,
work with development teams to understand how to test the integration of
their systems, work with feature leads and architects on how to test the
feature end-to-end, and contribute to making the product more easily
testable.
* Additional responsibilities include filing bug reports and monitoring and
maintaining existing tests
In order to be considered for this position, you must have the following
required skills:
* Strong automated testing experience utilizing Java based automation tools
* Strong ability to develop system, API, and integration test plans,
automated tests, and supporting libraries
* Expertise in OOD and Java.
* Experience with Linux
* Experience with SQL and Oracle
* Familiarity with Perl
* Familiarity with shell scripting
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills to work with
various cross functional teams on multi-team projects
* Strong sense of commitment and responsibility
* 5+ years of relevant work experience
* BS or MS in Computer Science
