The role will include working directly with the client to map business need with technical features and capabilities. The candidate will need to develop a technical roadmap and guide both the client as well as implementer on how to execute on the plan. Requirements: · Expert-level understanding of all out-of-the-box features associated with ECM, WCM, BI, Social Networking, Search, and integration capabilities of SharePoint. · Expert-level understanding of SharePoint best practices from an architecture and deployment perspective. · Advanced-level understanding of SharePoint customization (SharePoint Designer) including components such as master pages, themes, CSS, page layout templates, web part zones, XSL, JavaScript, XML, and XHTML. · Advanced-level understanding of SharePoint development (Visual Studio) including components such as web parts, user controls, event handlers, workflows, field controls, site definitions, and the solution packaging framework (WSP). · Advanced-level understanding of SharePoint infrastructure planning and deployment including server sizing, service distribution, LAN and WAN topologies, and capacity planning. · Proficient in SharePoint project estimations and RFP response · Technical team leadership capability · Solid communication skills (verbal and written) · Financial industry knowledge is a plus.
