Position: Windows Engineer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 18 + Months
1. Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 server installation,
configuration, automated deployment, and advanced administration in an
Enterprise Environment.
2. Clear understanding of Windows security including design and
implementation in an Enterprise.
3. Design and implementation experience of High Availability and
Disaster Recovery strategies.
4. High level of experience with virtualization, especially with
VMware Infrastructure and vSphere.
5. Detailed understanding of advanced Windows Services including:
Terminal Services, IIS Server, Application Servers, Exchange and MS
SQL Server.
6. Experience designing and implementing MS Clustering, Storage Area
Networks, Citrix Metaframe.
7. Scripting experience with VBScripting, Powershell, and etc. a
plus.
8. Working knowledge of standards, change management, project
management, network security, and technology audit.
Functional skills required.
1. Project leadership/management.
2. Technical writing/documentation.
3. Problem diagnostic/resolution.
Soft Skills required.
1. Must be self-motivated.
2. Analytical and adaptable.
3. Good leadership skills.
4. Mentoring and training skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional requirements.
1. Participate in project meetings.
2. Develop standardized documentation.
3. Develop and present solutions.
4. Provide internal demonstrations and training.
Areas of focus will include the following projects (and others):
1. Active Directory Upgrade (including domain based services)
2. Legacy Domain integrations
3. Business initiatives and applications integrations.
