Our department is a part of the Fixed Income division. It is very simply Commercial Lending. Within this product line, large sized loans are syndicated and traded, typically for the purposes of large scale expenditures such as acquisitions. This specific role will be working within the Origination and Loan Admin team, who look after the systems which originate these loans and also the system which administers these loans. A successful candidate will be a strong object-oriented designer and a practitioner of an agile methodology. The candidate who fills this role will build and enhance leading edge, business critical front office syndication and loan administration systems. The applications employ a mix of technologies including: Clients: Java, Swing, JSP- Application Server: Tomcat, Apache- Messaging: Tibco EMS- Image Parser: Adlib Document Management:Alfresco - Database: Sybase, Oracle Platforms:Windows XP, Linux- Test Frameworks: JUnit, WebDriver, Proprietary GUI test framework, GWT Test framework Continuous Integration: TeamCity- IDE: Intellij Responsibilities: · User interface, Requirements gathering, Design, documentation and implementation of key software components for the origination, syndication, trading and risk management of commercial loans.
