Position: SAS EBI Developer -Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 3 months Contract to Hire
General Responsibilities: o The SAS EBI Developer will have strong communication and thought leadership skills with creating reports using the SAS 9.2 EBI software suite, augmented by Base SAS skills and including Information Map Studio, SAS Stored Processes, Enterprise Guide, SAS/GRAPH, ODS, DATA step, SQL, & Macros. o Services may include focus on: o Leading or assisting with activities related to EBI project discovery, definition, design, development, and/or implementation of the SAS EBI environment, including actions that incorporate both reporting and distribution processes o Understanding EBI requests and translating them into actionable reports from acquiring relevant data, modifying data if needed, building the reports, outputting the reports, etc. o Utilizing Enterprise Guide and its functionality to create project flows which could include aspects of data access, manipulation, summarization, and report generation to a variety of output formats and channels, etc. o Using Information Map Studio and its functionality to map physical data to business elements. (As an example, creating various types of prompts, filters, data elements, etc.) o Using Web Report Studio and its functionality to create web reports. As an example, use filters and prompts created within information maps, provide report linking, modify report layouts, schedule reports to run automatically, etc.) o Using the Information Delivery Portal as means for users to view reports. o Creating portlets and content to these newly created or pre-existing portlets o Creating various OLAP cubes using functionality of OLAP Cube Studio. As an example, creating various dimensions and hierarchies, drill-through, performance tuning, aggregations, member-level metrics, etc. o Creating and using Stored Processes for the creation of customized web output. Required Skills: o Familiar with configuring SAS BI components: o Troubleshoot and resolve BI related issues o Design and development of reports, charts, interactive maps, data structures, OLAP cubes, ETL processes, stored procedures. o Knowledge of metadata and data lineage o 3+ years minimum experience SAS coding. o 2+ years experience in the implementation, configuration, architecture of SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence suite of tools. o 2+ years of experience in design, development, deployment of SAS Enterprise BI based applications and components. o 2+ years of experience with design and implementation of SAS data architecture as used by SAS BI components (OLAP cubes, metadata, roles, o etc.) o Bachelor's degree or higher o SAS certification Sampath | SRICOM, INC. | A Certified Minority Business Enterprise Off: 215 666 6059 | Fax: 215.638.8767 Email: [email protected] 2075 Byberry Rd, Ste#105A, Bensalem, PA 19020 This email is not intended to be an unsolicited mail or 'SPAM'.
