Location : San Diego CA Candidate must be able to have a face-to-face interview in San Diego QA Engineer Candidates must be team oriented, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, at least 5 years of experience in QA, and 2 years of experience with web testing using various browsers. Requirements: • Strong experience with manual black box testing, including functionality, regression, installation, integration, backwards compatibility, sanity, smoke, user acceptance, GUI, UI, and database testing. • Strong experience analyzing requirements, designing and developing test plans and data test scripts. • Understanding of QA Test Environments utilizing SQL or Oracle databases. • Experience with back end testing using SQL queries • Strong experience with Mercury Test Director as a defect tracking tool • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems. • Good understanding and practical application of testing methodologies, SDLC, and the QA Life Cycle. • Experience with setting up and managing QA test environments. • Experience working in a structured environment with standard QA processes and procedures Bonus: • Experience leading teams of 3 or more is highly desirable. • Financial industry experience is highly desirable.
