*Sr. Informatica/PowerCenter Developer:* *6-18 months* *Fort Wayne, IN* *Financial Industry* *Thorough knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter. Must be familiar with Data Modeling concepts, Meta Data, ETL design/development, Oracle DBMS, Data Mart design and Data Warehouse design. * *Key Responsibilities May Include* · Provides functional and configuration knowledge in designing ETL solutions · Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between Informatica and other data warehouse/business intelligence tools & designs, and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge · Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering and documentation designs. · Provides alternatives based on best practices for data integration and ETL, and Informatica toolset functionality. · Develops functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing · Development and documentation of technical designs, including mappings and logic for translations, transformations in Informatica; · Ability to coordinate with tech support team to populate staging tables/data repositories using the Informatica toolset (against underlying database) · Initiates and designs-in business process improvements *Qualifications* · Informatica PowerCenter application knowledge · Data mapping Experience · Data Warehouse architecture, design and development approach understanding · Informatica life cycle implementation experience · Demonstrated ability to manage effective client relationships over long periods · Able to operate largely independently the work of a group or function · Demonstrated knowledge sharing and mentoring skills · 4 years experience in Informatica PowerCenter architecture and design · 6 years experience in ETL development and design, Informatica preferred.
