*Please send resume to [email protected]* *Need SQL DBA* *Location: Chicago IL** **(Local or nearby)*** *Duration: 6 months * *Skills:* sql dba, server 2005/2008, and either ssis or vb.net 1. Participate as a member of a team to troubleshoot critical errors (time outs, performance issues). The SQL Server DBA would be responsible for the database side. Others in the team will handle the application side and infrastructure side as needed. 2. Create maintenance plans for about 6 SQL Servers. One is used for Relativity and 5 are used for the Law Processing application. 3. Develop an automated process to export data into text files and zip related documents (pdf/Word/etc) so the header data export and related document export can be sent to external clients. Ideally this would be executed from within the application. The extract would be parameter based. The idea is that a process could be written in VB.net or SSIS. *Position Requirements* · 3+ years experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 as a database administrator. · Must be able diagnose and resolve database server issues and well as have strong SQL tuning experience. · Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, Profiler, Configuration Manager, SQL Server Integration Services, VB.net · The SQL Server DBA would need to be available onsite from about 8am to 5pm and occasionally during non business hours, but that could be done remotely. *Position Responsibilities* · Responsible for leadership and delivery of project based assignments that encompass system architecture, proof-of-concept and deployment services for Enterprise and Mid-Market customers. · Responsible for managing smaller projects or segments of larger projects. Has moderate to heavy contact with middle and senior level executives.
