* * * * * * *Data modeler/SQL Developer * *Location: Ann Arbor, MI (need only local candidates)* *Duration: 12 months* We are looking for the person who is the expert in relational database and data modeling. Experience in designing data model and implementing Oracle package/functions/procedures are required. Experience in SQL server programming is preferred. *Job Function/Duties:* The Physician Peer Review Program is sponsored by the Office of Clinical Affairs and began in 2004. The program supports On-going Professional Practice Evaluation required by The Joint Commission and is used at UMHS as a means to assess professional competency and improve quality of care. Approximately 170 measures have been developed for 26 clinical services. Measurement results by individual physician and by clinical service are delivered each fiscal quarter. All 170 measures will be affected by the Mi-Chart changes to fundamental data sources for revenue cycle, ADT, scheduling, and patient management. A portion will be affected by changes to the ED and ambulatory systems. These programs must be altered to accommodate the new data structures. As one of our Senior Clinical Information Reporting database/software developers, you will partner with data analysts to convert data sources for the Mi-Chart implementation.
