Responsibilities include developing scripts, macros and SQL using the Teradata database platform, developing technical specifications, unit testing, documentation and ensuring compliance to all quality assurance process procedure. * 3 to 5 years understanding Teradata concepts, design and SQL * 3 to 5 years developing Teradata SQL * 3 to 5 years using Teradata Utilities * 3 years experience with DB2 databases * 3 years experience with Cobol programming * Experience with mainframe batch JCL and Control M * *Experience with TSO, Endeavor, FileAid, IBM utilities* * Understanding of retail is a plus Candidate should demonstrate: * Strong data analysis and problems solving skills with focus on attention to detail * Strong understanding of data relationships * Strong problem solving, multitasking and time management skills * Ability to work effectively with minimal direction * Ability to translate both business requirements into technical details * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong organizational, multitasking, coordination and facilitation skills * Strong listening skills * The Ability to Multitask assignments effectively *Special Functions: * Advanced Teradata SQL Required Int.
