As a Senior Java Developer, you must work well in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment with not only your own team, but other teams within the Bank, as well as our external hardware vendors to deliver high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities include design, development, and testing of new and existing business logic within the VPR application to satisfy Line of Business requirements. You will be expected to work closely within the team to implement complex business requirements and processes. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations. Applicants should demonstrate ability to deliver solutions within defined budgets and timelines while adhering to project standards and best practices. You will participate in design reviews and help drive the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; provide input to information/data flow and understand and comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. You will also adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Additionally, you will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules.
