I have the job description below. *SUMMARY * This person will be responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure necessary to support a global deployment of the full Oracle/Hyperion EPM suite. Candidate must be able to work in a team environment on new initiatives while still maintaining our service support levels to our constituents. Responsibilities include: · Manage new software release schedule (evaluate, schedule, configure, test) · Assist with tuning of databases · Manage application migrations · Assess existing hardware footprint · Manage, configure and trouble shoot the Load balancers · Support the web applications and the respective technologies · Monitor CPU and memory utilization for all apps · Monitor and capacity plan disk space on the Intel and oracle servers · Keep abreast of new technologies (EAL, ODI, DRM) · Act as an escalation point for the Technical Analyst on resolving infrastructure issues. · Patch maintenance (evaluate, schedule, configure, test) *Supervisory responsibilities (direct and indirect)* Two – Technical Analyst, outside consultants *Other* This is a highly visible position within the greater PRIME Support team. Must be able to work with other internal and external organizations to design, build, test and support an infrastructure to support our current and future EPM solutions. *REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Related Work Experience* - 5 years experience with the installation and configuration of Hyperion 9.3.1.x or higher for a global 1,000+ user environment. - Experience with Life Cycle Management and performing application migrations between environments. - Should be familiar with various web application and load balancers. - Experience working within a hosted environment. - Excellent diagnostic skills - Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills and ability to foster client relationships and working relationships with peers - Experience with one or more of the following: LCM, ODI, MDM/DRM, Visual Basic (VB) - Excellent analytical and research skills * * *Formal Education or Equivalent* B.S. in Accounting or Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred. General functional knowledge or understanding of Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial analysis processes *Skills* · Excellent skills in all Microsoft Office Products (Access, Project Plan, Excel, Visio). · Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. · Is able to function independently with minimal oversight/direction and is also capable of authoring quality documentation deliverables. · Metadata and Data Integration experience using ODI/EPMA/EAL *Other* · Effective communication skills; comfortable working with people from various levels of management from business teams and technology teams. · Good analytical and problem solving skills; and understands linkage between the business work flow and technology. · Takes initiative to continuously expand knowledge base and suggests ways to improve business and technical processes. · Collaborates and uses feedback as a way to improve quality of work product · Must have a thorough understanding of Active Directory and the interactions with Shared Services *PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)* - Ensure all the infrastructure environments are meeting our service level agreements with our constituents. - Proactively monitor the environments and take appropriate action to defuse potential system outages. - Understand the future direction of our application landscape and plan an appropriate infrastructure to meet these needs. - Communicate to our development and support group risks or concerns you see to the environments from their applications. - Respond timely to correct system outages and communicate to the team the cause. - Evaluate patch releases against business needs to determine the viability of introducing the patch to our environment. - Monitor application performance, availability, and utilization - Perform application migrations.
