*Position* – ETL DataStage Developer *Experience *– 5+ years *Location – *Charlotte, NC *Length* – 6 month Contract *Max Pay Rate - *$DOE/hour * * Targeted Skills & Competencies: The SR ETL Developer / Tech lead will be responsible for the delivery of all ETL artifacts from the design to the delivery phase. The will be 100% accountable for the quality of all ETL code within their control. They will work with their business partners to ensure the business requirements are met for specific data integration projects throughout the organization. Responsibilities: • Experience in User Interaction, Business Analysis, Development, Integration, Documentation, Testing, Deployment, Building, Configuration and Production/Customer support, Maintenance and Enhancements of DataStage applications. • Expertise in Extraction, Cleansing, Validating and Integrating of data from multiple systems. • •Hands on experience in Transforming Business specific rules into functional Specs. • Work with the Data Integration Architect to create ETL standards, High Level and Low-level design documents. • Strong experience in designing Parallel, Server Jobs, Job Sequencers and Batch Jobs in DataStage 8.1.2 and 8.5 • Extensively worked with portioning for splitting multiple data streams into sub chunks to distribute the load evenly across all available processors to achieve maximum thru put. • Strong Knowledge of Data Warehouse Architecture, Star Schema, Snow flake Schema, Fact tables and Dimensional tables. • Experience in Integration of various data sources like Teradata, DB2UDB, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and MS-Access. • Strong experience in writing database procedures, functions and fine-tuning SQL for performance optimization. • Good experience in writing Shell Scripts to automate file manipulation and data loading procedures. • Responsible for Production Support and involved in On-Call for Data Integration applications. • Hands on experience in tuning mappings, identify and resolving performance bottlenecks in various levels like source and target mappings. Job Requirements / Qualifications • Good Domain Knowledge in Finance and Client Interactions • Excellent team player with good organizational, communicational, analytical and logical skills. • A minimum of a bachelor of science in Computer Science, CIS/MIS or equivalent degree from an accredited four year institution. • Typically 6-8 years of experience, including project management, application development, infrastructure selection and support, and systems technology analysis, with a heavy emphasis on DataStage ETL and Information Analyzer • Gaining approval and communication of technology architecture solutions and directions. • In-depth knowledge of one or more financial business functions. • Collaboration and consensus building among diverse groups. • Lead roles on cross-functional teams, internal peer groups, and external IT groups or IT standard-setting bodies. • Able to influence and advise large, complex project teams on technology architecture directions and implementations. • Provides leadership and ''mentoring'' to other architects throughout the enterprise. • Leads and manages key \ complex architecture efforts, such as architecture definition, pilots \ prototypes, and architecture implementations. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently as well as in a team, experienced in interacting with Business/Technology group ** * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
