*Location: Oakbrook, IL* *Duration: 6 months* *Rate: $60/hr* * * *Job Description:* · The person in this role will have the unique opportunity to act as both a Business Analyst and a Programmer-Analyst (approx. 50/50 split). · With minimal direction, this position bridges the gap between the business customer and the technology solution providers (e.g., vendors, infrastructure team, development team, etc.) by translating business needs to technical solutions throughout the lifecycle of the product. · Under certain circumstances will also be asked to develop those technical solutions. · Under other circumstances will coordinate and/or execute test plans to ensure that technical solutions meet the needs of the business. * * *Key Responsibilities: * · Assist project leadership by creating technical design documents, project planning, delivery estimation. · Writes specifications that will meet the business needs, legal requirements, and comply with applicable standards. · Collaborate with project leadership to design and monitor necessary testing and implementation plans. · Analyze change requests to determine feasibility in relation to existing business requirements, processes, and data models · Utilize in-depth knowledge of the business area and applies technical expertise to determine appropriate solutions to meet the customer needs and technical standards. · Provide subject matter expertise to other teams · Develop enhancements and break/fixes for the batch processes that feed current McDonald's systems data to an off-the-shelf Learning Management System (Saba). Development is done using Oracle, Unix and Java. · Code, test, troubleshoot, and documents applications according to systems standards. · Support the Data Feeds batch process, interfacing with source system support teams as needed · Look for ways to improve the development process. · 10 years in a technical solutions role · Experience identifying project tasks and providing estimates for those tasks · Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment. ** * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
