Responsibilities includes installing and managing various front end products and tools including Webshpere, ABB, IIS, Liferay, Siteminder, and Fast *Responsibilities include*: - Experienced working on virtualized platforms - Installation and management of IBM WebSphere - Installation and management of IBM Siteminder - Installation and management of ABB/FAST/Tomcat - Interact with different teams like Unix SA, DBA, Application Developers and provide leadership on the issue resolution calls - Shell scripting experience: Korn, Sed, AWK or Perl. - Ability to interpret various technical tiers - Willingness to take ownership of issues to drive to a solution - Candidates with prior development/architecture experience is preferred · Management of the production environment and applications to ensure high performance and availability · Identifying improvements and enhancements to existing support processes, procedures and documentation · Manage infrastructure projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget · Problem solving technical issues and proactively implementing preventative measures · Establishment of the relevant reporting and monitoring functions for production systems via strategic monitoring tools (Fog Light, etc..) · Planning, co-ordination and execution of changes for production systems · Problem resolution, coordinating production issues between the development teams, business and other technical teams / vendors · Interact with technical teams in GTI and LOB IT teams to incorporate build / environment controls · Ensure the technical environment is audit compliant *Qualifications* - College degree or equivalent experience - Minimum 10 years of IT Technology experience - Experience working in AIX, Solaris, Linux and Windows environments. - Ability to write shell scripts - Experience gathering, analyzing and articulating system performance characteristics - Ability to be proactive with a strong bias for action, naturally inquisitive, and bias for continuous improvement of practices / process - Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of the organization - Experience with production support ** * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
