Job title: Oracle DBA with Informatica Exp Location: Merrimack, NH Duration: 6-12+ Months Contarct** The Database Operations team provides 24x7 database administration services for the PWI core Heath and Welfare business. This team partners closely with all the PWI IT Production Operations team, FTG/Enterprise Infrastructure teams, and PWI IT Development organizations to provide efficient application and product stability and availability. This is accomplished in multiple environments employing diverse database technologies. Key responsibilities will include management of database configurations, schemas, and space; performance tuning; problem research/resolution; code reviews and deployments; SQL support; and data movement and participate in On Call rotation. Primary Responsibilities Oracle Application and Oracle Database administration tasks. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project Rollout database builds in various production and non production environments. Monitoring the database health. Perform Production On call support on rotational basis. Troubleshooting database issues Open & follow-up on Service support tickets with Oracle support. Support the implementation of Informatica PowerCenter Exchange Education and Experience 4+ years of Oracle experience Good communication and team skills Experience with UNIX shell scripts Experience with Informatica PowerCenter Exchange SQL database access language Performance/tuning options and tools Database productivity tools Database utilities Automation experience a plus Other DBM's experience a plus Skills and Knowledge Candidate should be able to perform complex Oracle application DBA tasks. Code release in various environments Troubleshooting performance issues Roll out oracle patches Follow the production support organization's process and policies.
