We have an urgent requirement for *Security Consultant (transitioning
BlueCoat proxy services to IronPort)*; please find the details of the
project below.
* *
*Position: *Security Consultant (transitioning BlueCoat proxy services to
IronPort)
*Duration:* 3-6 Months Contract
*Location: *Minneapolis, MN
*The Job Description is as follows:*
*Experience/Skills *
6 to 8 yrs of experience in integrating web security technologies for
larger enterprises.
*Hard skills – *
· At least 3 years of Hands-On experience in implementing,
upgrading web security technologies like Proxy, Gateways, Web Application
Firewalls, Content Filtering
· Certification like BCCPA (BlueCoat), ICSA (Cisco IronPort), CCNA,
Security+ etc.
· Experience in migrating traffic from proxy of one vendor to
other; for e.g migrating services from BlueCoat to IronPort.
· Hands-On experience of web security technologies like URL
Filtering, Internet Proxy, Reverse Proxy.
· Good knowledge of Release Management, Change Management processes
· Good knowledge of proxies like BlueCoat, IronPort, ISA, etc.
· Good Knowledge of Networks and Systems
*Soft skills – *
· Good written and oral communication skills
· Good documentation and presentation skills
*Roles and Responsibility *
• Responsible for planning and designing the proxy migration projects
• Ensure development and testing of configurations and settings to be
implemented to ensure smooth migration without any business interruptions
• Perform migration of services from BlueCoat Proxy to IronPort proxy
• Provide regular update to senior management on project status
