Direct client. Skype interview Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 12+ months Rate: Open/hr C2C Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Design, programs, tests, and debugs ASP .Net, C# web services, and SQL Server Integration Service packages based on software design specifications. 2. Resolves assigned issues identified from testing \ production. 3. Follows established Software Development Lifecycle and coding standards to create maintainable, production-ready code 4. Prepares progress reports and keeps management informed of status. 5. Support integration with third party java components. SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. BS in Computer Science or related field 2. 6+ years' experience in a Windows development environment 3. Strong understanding of developing distributed, n-tier internet internet applications using ASP .Net for presentation tier and web services for business tier and stored procedures for data tier 4. Strong understanding of Microsoft .Net coding standards, patterns, and practices 5. Strong understanding of SQL 6. Knowledge of Version Control software (TFS, Borland StarTeam, PVCS, CVS, VSTS) 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 8. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills 9. Demonstrated aptitude toward an attention to detail 10. Familiar with java 11.
