· Ensure that each software enhancement deployed to Client Services achieves its specific purpose/benefit and does not degrade any other feature or performance. · Partner closely with business analysts, project management, and our application support team to design and test new applications, build tools and automation, and enhance the overall reliability and performance of the software test infrastructure. · Analyze, validate, and test software development projects by writing test plans and test cases, performing ad hoc, manual, and automated, performance and security testing. · Help design and build intelligent systems that can explore a wide range of integration testing scenarios. · Participate in enterprise-wide QA build by helping to institutionalize software excellence throughout the company. *Position Requirements:* · Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent · 4 -7 Years of Software testing experience in test cases, using different execution approaches, & defect management process. Knowledge of test planning is preferred · *At least 3 years programming experience in Excel VBA/VB scripting or any other programming language is required.* *·** **At least 3 years of SQL experience – Excellent knowledge of SQL joins, aggregate functions and the ability to apply CURD functions.* *·** **Knowledge of object oriented programming(C#, C++ or Java) is required.* *·** **Knowledge of Quality management software is required; (HP QC/ALM is preferred)* *·** **Hands of experience on QTP tool and Knowledge of Test automation frameworks is preferred.* · Knowledge performance security and performance testing is preferred. · Creativity, original thought and not constrained by the status quo · Character – credits contributors and acknowledges and corrects mistakes · Common sense – practice problem decomposition and problem solving · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Attention to detail ** * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
