*Position: Project/Functional Analyst – P2P * *Location: Houston, TX* *Duration: 6 Months * *Rate: $60-70/hr. * We have a need for a Project/Functional Analyst to work with the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) project team. Work will begin in January 2013 and continue for approximately 6 months with the possibility of long-term extension. *RESOURCE REQUEST* *Project:* Battle Red – Procure-to-Pay (P2P) *Role Title:* Project/Functional Analyst *Expected Start Date: *Jan 21, 2013 *Description:* The project/functional analyst will assist across multiple work streams and be responsible for work stream planning, project management updates, staff onboarding, deliverable tracking, steering committee updates, and project documentation. From a functional analyst perspective, this person will be responsible for managing project health metrics, program value scorecard, and the benefits case. * * *Responsibilities include: * · Work with project resources and stakeholders to mitigate issues and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle · Support solution implementation and deliverables including process design, executive presentations, business case modeling, and value realization execution · Support development of planned and ad-hoc program level communications, will likely include some communications targeted to executive audiences · Participate in quality management reviews and project audit sessions · Assist in managing project plan including resource loading, deliverable tracking, completion percentages, and status reporting · Support Halliburton vendor integration with 3rd party vendors who are providing solutions to Halliburton (e.g. supplier portal and invoice management) · Develop and manage project health scorecard including but limited to tracking project progress against compliance targets, project progress against centralization targets, project progress against risks and control targets · Candidate will work with the implementation team on Functional Unit Testing, Integration Testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) · Candidate will possess a good command over written English. · Candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective time management, and ability to handle multiple tasks/assignments. *Qualifications: * · Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a demanding work environment · Operate well in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision · Experience in business case modeling, financial analysis, and project valuation · Command of Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint · Strong organizational skills and detail oriented · Strong oral communication and client relationship skills ** Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
