Duration: 6+ months Rate: Open Position Description: The selected candidate will be interacting daily with Business Analysts and other functional experts, as well as end users, to comprehend requirements and ensure all aspects of the project are delivered as planned. The ideal candidate must thrive on working in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively understand and provide solutions to Oracle/MS SQL Server interface problems using MS SQL Server 2012. Responsibilities: . Provide support to Business Analyst(s) in gathering and/or clarifying data and reporting requirements from business owners. . Develop SSIS Packages in accordance with requirements using Microsoft SQL Server 2012. . Develop and maintain database stored procedures. . Develop SQL queries and support ad hoc requests for data. . Identify and troubleshoot business process or data quality issues that show up in the reports and subsequently communicate to resolve and eliminate problems. . Other MS SQL Server SSIS related duties as assigned. Requirements: * BS/BA in a related technical field. . 5+ years working in a data warehouse environment with business intelligence applications. . 5+ years of experience with report development using Microsoft SQL Server SSIS 2008 or higher. . 5+ years of experience writing stored procedures, T-SQL, functions, workflow and SQL queries. .
