Randstad Technologies currently has an opening for a Murex BA. This is a
long term contract position in Cedar Rapids, IA. Rates are open and should
reflect the experience level of the consultant. In this role, candidates
will:
- Provide leadership to and act as a liaison between business and IT
Stakeholders.
- Understand organizational policies and regulations (including SOX and
Risk).
- Understand and use elicitation techniques that are appropriate to the
audience to obtain actual requirements.
- Translate business scope (Charter) into complete and accurate written
business requirements that are consistent, uniquely identified, and
prioritized.
- Fully comprehend solution requirements and get verification from
stakeholders that the documented requirements meet the stated business
needs. Responsible for all written documentation, communication, models,
and tasks produced in the Requirements discipline, including traceability.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical requirements.
- Assist with evaluating technical capabilities and identifying and
communicating risks to stakeholders.
- Analyze and document functions and rules (logic) that need to be built
to support the exchange of information internal and external .
- Complete assigned project activities utilizing available tools and
adhering to processes as required by the SDLC. May act as key player in
the development and maintenance of the test strategy. Responsible for
assigned test activities including writing test plans and determination of
expected results.
- Uniquely identify all business requirements and test cases to be able
to trace back from test cases to design and to business requirements –
meeting the stated business needs.
- Manage project and product lifecycle change using validation
techniques throughout the lifecycle and maintaining the integrity of the
requirements document to ensure it is always up-to-date.
*Intermediate Qualifying Skills, Experience*
- Bachelor degree required with 5 years of experience in business
systems analysis and/or System Testing.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with business and IT
stakeholders, to coordinate and facilitate meetings, to utilize
planning/organization skills, proven use of elicitation techniques, proven
ability to effectively document clear, accurate and measurable business
requirements, and the ability to communicate effectively and to validate
and coordinate change.
- Analytical, problem solver, creative thinker, proven ability to
interact at all levels of the division; ability to manage ambiguity;
effective leadership skills, organizational and communicative skills
required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications for project planning and
project deliverables; use of diagram and modeling techniques highly
recommended.
*Senior Qualifying Skills, Experience*
- Bachelor degree required with 8 years of experience in business
systems analysis and/or System Testing.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with business and IT
stakeholders, to coordinate and facilitate meetings, to utilize
planning/organization skills, proven use of elicitation techniques, proven
ability to effectively document clear, accurate and measurable business
requirements, and the ability to communicate effectively and to validate
and coordinate change.
