Business Analyst with financial background and experience with Vantage Mainframe. Duration: 12 month contract Location: Cedar Rapids, IA *candidate must have:* Ø Annuities (Financial) background a must. Ø Exceptional Analytical Skills, Mathematical Skills, Communication Skills a must. Ø Proven requirements experience, including requirements elicitation and documentation Ø System/Technical knowledge – looking for candidates with expertise in Vantage mainframe and/or wmA - Will meet with business units, and business partners to understand key problem to be solved or opportunity to be realized. - Facilitate the elicitation and documentation of business and functional requirements via Business Requirements workshops. - Drive the process by which system features are identified, defined and analyzed as they relate to system functionality. Identify system and testing scenarios. - Responsible for all artifacts and tasks produced in the Requirements discipline of the Rational Unified Process (RUP). Will create Use Cases, Models, Activity Diagrams, spreadsheets, and Supplementary Specifications. Mockup and document user interfaces such as screens, reports, letters, extracts. - Analysis and documentation of functions and rules (logic) that need to be built to support the exchange of information internal and external. - Creation of Test Plans and completing test execution activities. - Collaborate with project team to deliver the solution. Lead or Participate in JAD sessions. - Defines, develops and provides information and analysis to drive the decision-making process on projects. Provides recommendations regarding issues, processes and procedures both internally and externally.
