PLEASE NOTE - The initial contract is to the end of 2013, but there is a
good potential for extension.
The Business Analyst (BA) plans, develops and documents computer programs,
applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
The BA on the project will work with multiple resources involved in
departmental projects: PM, Developers & other BA's. In addition to BA
skills. The resource will collaborate with team to help extract
requirements but also determine the testing criteria. The resource must
be able to collaborate on identifying test scenarios against the business
requirements.
The resource will also need to analyze the potential for process
improvement while working with the end users. The resource will review
processes with end users but will have to be proactive in making
recommendations.
Agile experience is required - but the resource will need to learn to adapt
to a flexible version of Agile that is currently employed at Iowa Workforce
Development.
