This turned out to be a primary remote assignment with at least one day on
site to start. Once the installs start, it could ramp up to 3 days a week
on site.
*Requirements:*
- *8-10 years* of overall experience.
- 6+ years of experience with CISCO deep experience with CISCO NEXUS
Switches
- Extensive knowledge of new features and technologies on the Nexus
platform is required. Experience on current Nexus hardware is important.
- Extensive WAN experience required - This engagement requires a senior
engineer managing and troubleshooting WAN environment. Must be able to
demonstrate WAN experience in complex topologies.
- FCoE and IPSec experience
- Nexus experience specifically around:
- VDC
- VPC
- QoS
- FabricPath
- TRILL
- OTV
- FCoE
- Converged Networking
- Fabric Extenders
- CCIE R&S certification is highly desired (need to verify cert)
- Must demonstrate experience or knowledge with variety of server
connectivity options
- Also, should be able to articulate critical thinking with IP address
schemas, which is a key deliverable
