*Title: Business Analyst* Loc: Des Moines, Iowa Duratin: 6+ months Interview: Phone screen CLIENT: State of IA *Responsibilities:* The primary project will be focused on the IWD portion of the Home Base Iowa initiative, a collaboration between State of Iowa agencies and employers in Iowa, providing services specifically intended to provide separating and recently separated veterans access to employment opportunities most inline with their military acquired skillsets and abilities. This position will be greatly enhanced by the incumbent being a recently separated veteran (within the last 12-18 months), who also has experience converting MOS and military skills/training into their civilian employment counterparts. The BA on the project will work with multiple resources involved in departmental projects: PM, Developers & other BA's. In addition to BA skills. The resource will collaborate with team to help extract requirements but also determine the testing criteria. The resource must be able to collaborate on identifying test scenarios against the business requirements. The resource will also need to analyze the potential for process improvement while working with the end users. The resource will review processes with end users but will have to be proactive in making recommendations.
