Months+   Job Description: ·         3-5 Years Detailed knowledge of
Storage Arrays, Tape libraries, RAID, Network storageand Fibre Channel.
·         Familiarity with Storage protocols like FC, SCSI, SAS and SATA.
·         Aware of Storage management concerns and standards like SMI-S.
·         Good knowledge of data management data protection, backup,
migration, disaster recovery. ·         Sound knowledge of File systems
Monitor backup jobs, drives and robots using backup console. ·
Restart the failed backup if necessary and start the manual backup.
·         Perform data restore Performing SOP based activities. ·
Handling media management such us ejecting and loading Medias. ·
Perform the robot inventory. ·         Generate a backup status report.
Have knowledge on the following concepts - backup basics, master & media
server management, Storage unit management, policy management and media
management. ·         Unix / Windows basics, Vi editor, Password
management, OS Checklist, Patch Monitoring, User administration, Group
administration, Hardware diagnosis / administration, Print Queue
Monitoring, Monitoring of CPU utilization, Monitoring File Systems,
Monitoring various Processes, Monitoring Log files, Errors Batch Job
Monitoring, Monitoring DNS / DHCP Service Event logs monitoring ·
Candidate should have experience in storage administration like Creating
RAID Groups, Mapping LUNs, LUN Masking, Host, Host group and Integrating
Hosts like Windows, HP-UX, Solaris and AIX. ·         Configuring HBA Cards
using both host and Vendor utilities like HB Anyware, SAN surfer. ·
Configuring Zoning and activating the zonesets. ·         Installing
configuring storage manager software in both GUI & CLI. ·
Configuring HOT spare disk. ·         Taking Backup of storage
configuration file and fabric configuration and restoring the same.
·         Configuring Mutlipathing Software s like SDD, MPIO. ·
Configuring boot LUN for Blade center servers. ·         Configuring Flash
copy & Volume copy. ·         Working in volume management and volume
group, array, and LUN allocation. ·         Cluster server and
troubleshooting. ·         Firmware up gradation and Vendor Coordination
