*Sr. Salesforce Developer* Type *C* Discription *Location: St Paul, MNDuration: 6 MonthsInterview: Phone/ Skype* Description: Job Description Updated: Sr. IT Salesforce.com Developer Job Description: The Sr. IT Salesforce.com Developer will partner with Business and IT personnel on defining business requirements and translating them into mission critical applications. The Sr. IT Salesforce.com Developer will design and build system enhancements and applications on the Salesforce.com platform and integrate with external enterprise systems. This individual will work closely with business analysts, product owners, project managers, release managers, and the quality assurance staff. The successful candidate will need to have solid experience in designing and developing complex mission critical global applications. The Technologies this candidate will need to be proficient in include, but are not limited to, Apex Force.com, VisualForce, SOQL, SQL 2005 (and later versions), JavaScript, and ETL. Main Responsibilities: • Ability to communicate and interact with business partners and collaboratively define solutions to address key opportunities. • Develop designs and specifications based on business requirements. • Responsible for the scalability, robustness, and reliability of all solutions within the application area. • Responsible for defining and following best practices. • Evaluate, suggest and implement third party software as needed. • Ability to jointly and independently make decisions, define required changes, and communicates modifications to entire project team. • Pro-actively consult industry best practices in software design and integration solutions • Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing technology solutions including integrations with other enterprise software solutions. • Work closely with PM's, application engineers and end users to translate business requirements to smart solutions in Salesforce.com. • Design and develop applications using the Salesforce.com developer toolkit. • Create custom objects, classes and triggers in Salesforce. • Write technical approach and design documentation supporting business needs. • Build and develop web services to support various integration points. • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and support. • Will collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Basic Qualifications: • 5+ years Salesforce.com experience in the following: o Developer and/or Expert level with the Salesforce.com platform o Salesforce.com application architecture, design, and development o Salesforce Data modeling, enterprise level data management o Salesforce.com administration and customization o Apex coding platform, Force.com, XML, HTML, and JavaScript within the Salesforce.com cloud platform o Custom and/or dynamic Salesforce.com dashboards o Implementation of and integration with standard and custom objects, triggers, workflows/workflow rules. *• 1+ year experience with code migrations using Change Sets, Eclipse and Force.com ANT scripts. * *• 4+ years of experience in enterprise level database technologies including SQL, ETL• 5+ years of experience developing mission critical applications • 8+ years of experience in Object Oriented Development Skills (.Net, Java). • 5+ years of experience with full cycle software development on the web, specifically in an agile environment. Experience should include all of the following; design, coding, testing, release, and maintenance.*Preferred Qualifications: • Demonstrated ability to effectively work in team environment with varying skill set levels. • Proven written and verbal communication skills. • Strong initiative and personal accountability • Salesforce.com Certified Advanced Developer • Salesforce.com Certified Advanced Administrator • Knowledge of data management, SQL and RDBMS technologies, SOA design principles.
