*Project and Responsibilities:*

* Client is looking for an ESB Administrator in our Application Integration
Services area to work on projects for our Research area.  Responsibilities
include:
* Assist in installing, configuring, managing and supporting application
integration/EAI interfaces.   Conduct installation and upgrade activities
to minimize downtime. Customize installation to optimize fit with the
overall environment.  Maintain and protect the integrity of the integration
and interface infrastructure to support the uninterrupted continuation of
business activities.
* Support client requests for interface changes, security needs and
performance opportunities.  Investigate integration and interface problems.
Coordinate recovery and problem resolution activities with other IM staff.
* Assist in defining and applying best practices or common practices for
application integration/EAI including client application to application
(A2A), business to application (B2A & A2B) and business to customer/partner
integrations.  Instruct application developers in the use of application
integration/EAI concepts and tools to improve the efficiency of
applications.
* Requires occasional availability during non-business hours and be in the
24x7 on-call rotation.

*Skills / Experience: *

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information
Systems Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience with AIS/EAI concepts, processes, WebSphere MQ, and WebSphere
application integration technology including but not limited to clustering,
multi instance queue managers, and fail over and managing a highly
available integration platform across data centers.
* Strong analytical skills required for timely problem resolution, accurate
estimates of resource utilization, disciplined testing skills.
* Ability to acquire detailed knowledge from technical manuals, on the job
training, and formal instructional settings.  Ability to effectively
communicate this knowledge to other staff members or application
developers, including international staff.
* Flexibility and initiative required.  Ability to work with others in a
team atmosphere.  Excellent communication, organizational, and
time-management skills required.
* Strong AIX, Linux and Windows platform experience desired in order to
perform installations, configuration, monitoring and trouble shooting.
* A minimum of 2 to 4 years of large application development experience is
desired in addition to a minimum of 5 years' experience with middleware
Technologies.
* Knowledge of ETL, integration with Cloud Computing and EDI a plus.
 Knowledge of .NET application development a plus but not required.
