We have an immediate Openings with Our Direct Client for a Long term contract position *Job Title: Android Developer * *Qualifications* · Bachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical degree · Expertise with best practices for Android development · Demonstrated experience in Java development and RESTFUL API’s · Designed, implemented and published Android applications · Solid understanding of object oriented (OOD / OOP), Agile, and incremental development methodologies · Strong understanding of smartphone technologies, limitations, and platform specific differences and quirks · Ability to negotiate requirements with user interface designers · Excellent command of written and spoken English · At least 5 years of relevant professional experience *Preferred* · Extensive experience developing mobile UI · Experience developing native mobile applications in Android · Experience in client-side Web technologies (HTML 5/JS/CSS3) is desirable · A good understanding of backend cloud services · Experience working on social networking and/or location-based services · Experience in Agile software development and the scrum methodology *Location: Cambridge, MA * *Duration: 12+ Months* If you are interested, please send me your updated resume with your contact number.
