Location: Harrisburg, PA Duration: 12+ months Rate: Open Specific Duties: . Serve as a senior developer of complex n-tier applications using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, .NET Framework 3.5, C# and ASP.NET. . Perform a leading role in the design and develop user interface, service tier and data tier components for complex applications, including server-based web applications. . Utilize object oriented architecture to create reusable components for consumption by other development teams . Perform a leading role in the design and development of normalized transactional databases, stored procedures, functions, views and other database structures in SQL Server 2008 . Perform a leading role in the unit, system, performance and user testing of applications. . Perform a leading role in implementing and supporting web applications, including working with infrastructure teams on deployment, troubleshooting and support. . Participate in project planning and management, including developing of timelines, leveling of resources and managing of tasks for quality, schedule and budget. . Meet with end users and technical staff of all types to gather business and system requirements and to provide end-user support for applications in production. . Ensure that the application solutions developed satisfy the business and technical requirements and standard testing procedures have been followed . Collaborates with business and technical experts to ensure solutions support strategic plan Skills Needed: Recent, full SDLC experience developing web-based applications using VB.NET (not C#) Required 6 Years Experience designing and developing databases, database objects and database code using Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL.
