*Cognos BI Architect* *Location: Charlotte, NC * *Duration: 3-4 Months+* *Job Description: * - Overall minimum experience of 8 years - Hands on 2 to 4 years in Cognos 10 including Cognos Workspace, Cognos Workspace Advanced, Cognos Insight, Active Reports etc - Expertise in Framework Modeling, Report Studio (advanced skills), Dashboard and Portal Design, Transformer - Strong analytical and problem solving skills & mandatory business / functional communication skills - Experience with Teradata, Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server RDBMS - Scripting knowledge with Java Scripting, Unix etc - Provide estimates for BI solutions to be developed and deployed. - Investigate assigned product issues, analyze layers of code and/or reports for origin of bugs, and recommend solutions to cross-functional teams - Must be willing to liasion with business to technology groups & drive the implementation hands-on with end to end ownership in a consultative manner. - Must be local to Charlotte, NC & exposure to financial services is desirable.
