*Kindly send updated resume to : [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Prefering US Citizen, GC and TN.* Position *: Position Manager Agile* Location : *Ft.Worth, TX* Duration : *6 Months* *Rate : $50/hr on 1099/C2C* *Description :* The project manager will manage the projects on a team responsible for developing additional components, enhancements and resolution of production defects in the current LookAhead system, used to solve complex business problems in the Operations Technology and Real-time Systems department. The LookAhead system includes a suite of applications used by Airport Operations staff worldwide, and by the airline's System Operations Control departments to optimize American Airlines flight operations, utilizing advanced algorithms and modeling techniques. *Apply agile project management* practices to manage multiple projects, with a combined team of between 5 and 10 developers. Responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating activities of enterprise-level IT implementations. Requires extensive experience in project management: planning, scheduling, and controlling of project activities to meet project objectives (i.e. performance, cost, and time goals while controlling project scope). This position is integral to all development initiatives, enhancement requests and resolving production defects in LookAhead applications. This person will develop project plans, specifying goals, strategy, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources. Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel. Coordinates activities of project resources to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget, leveraging agile best practices. Works with Development Team Leads, Software Engineers, Architects, Infrastructure Engineers and Business Analysts to develop optimal solutions for our customers.
