Our clients include large financial services, telecoms and retail banking organizations. *Position Summary* We are seeking a Migration Project Coordinator to participate in an IT transformation, which includes a datacenter migration, for our client, a large retail bank. The coordinator will be responsible for supporting our migration team lead by facilitating scheduling, reporting, and communications in a major application migration. Only candidates who are legally authorized to work in the US and can pass our background screening will be considered. *Required Experience* · Hands-on experience of applications and data-center migrations or rollouts in an enterprise environment. · Project Management and Coordination experience across multiple functions in a complex environment · Demonstrated ability to proactively ensure appropriate participation by required stakeholders · Ability to work with, and co-ordinate many migration participants of different skill sets *Desired Experience* · Experience of working in a financial services organization, particularly retail banking · Report writing reports using SQL and/or BI tools such as Tableau, Crystal or similar. *Qualifications and Skills* · Able to create reports and updates that distill complexity, highlight the important, and enable management to take action. · Understand the value of formal and regular reporting as well as ad-hoc communications in keeping projects on track · Strong communications and collaboration skills, with the ability to hold project participants accountable to their commitments · Good understanding of business application processes, SDLC, and migration principles · Some IT infrastructure experience, including applications components, middleware, and virtualization; knowledge of Solaris, Linux, and Windows platform would be useful · Master’s/bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience *Personality* This role will require working with many levels within Virtual Clarity and its clients and therefore a positive, out-going and engaging personality is essential as are an investigative and inquisitive nature, attention to detail and self-motivation and drive.
