Location: Harrisburg, PA Duration: 9+ months Rate: Open The candidate will lead DW/BI projects and initiatives related to the expansion of the enterprise data warehouse and development of new BI applications. The candidate will serve as the DW/BI team's Informatica expert, and is also expected to have very strong data warehousing experience, Oracle Pl/SQL, and data modeling skills. Responsibilities will include Informatica architecture and technical support, Informatica ETL development and troubleshooting, dimensional modeling, SQL and PL/SQL development, Oracle performance tuning, and BI developer support. Technologies include Informatica PowerCenter 9.5, Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, and Business Objects XI. Candidate can expect to spend 75%of their time doing hands-on development and 25% performing lead/architect duties. Specific Duties: 1.Lead the full SDLC for DW/BI projects and initiatives, including business analysis, project leadership as well as technical design and development leadership. 2.Provide Informatica architecture and troubleshooting support, provide overall Informatica expertise, and lead Informatica ETL development efforts. 3.Oracle SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting. 4.Perform data architecture duties, including leading OLAP and OLTP data modeling. 5.Intensive data analysis on source system databases. Analysis of source system databases, identification of required data, and data profiling. 6.Support BI development using Business Objects XI tool suite (including Crystal reports, WebI, Dashboards). Skills Needed: IT experience Required 10 Years Data Warehouse experience Required 7 Years Informatica PowerCenter 8.x,9.x experience Required 5 Years Oracle development experience including writing complex SQL, writing PL/SQL, and performance tuning Required 5 Years Data modeling experience with at least 2 years doing dimensional modeling Required 5 Years Data warehouse team lead experience. Required 2 Years Business analysis, including requirements gathering and testing Required 3 Years Excellent oral and written communication skills.
