Our Client has an urgent opening for *“Windows Server Administrator”* opening @ *Vernon Hills, IL* *Title:* Windows Server Administrator *Location:* Vernon Hills, IL *Duration:* 10 Months *Job Requirements Overview: * Windows Architect • 10-15 years of IT infrastructure experience including 5+ years of Windows server administration and/or architecture. Candidate must have extensive experience planning and implementing multiple concurrent infrastructure solutions in support of several businesses and/or functions. Must be able to resolve complex problems, design solutions, and participate in strategy discussions and manage technical components of a project. • Provided architectural guidance and technical consulting in support of large scale application implementation projects. • Successfully worked with/managed outsourced data center providers and other key vendors. • Define and document technology standards that meet business requirements. • Strong technical background in all areas of infrastructure and services including data center, network, and end user technologies. • Worked effectively with business units translating their requirements into technical solutions. • In depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems as well as IBM server models. • High level knowledge of SAN/NAS architecture and data/voice network technology. • Strong background in Wintel server technologies as well as VMware and Citrix solutions. • Strong oral and written communication skills.
